Terms of Service
Last updated: February 18, 2026
Grepture appreciates your use of our platform. These terms exist to maintain operations and protect all parties involved. By using our services, you agree to these terms.
Terminology
References to “Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us” denote Grepture. “Services” encompasses grepture.com, the Grepture proxy, the Grepture dashboard, the @grepture/sdk npm package, and all products maintained by Grepture.
We may update these terms periodically, typically to clarify provisions or reflect changes to our services. Updates will be reflected with a refreshed date at the top of this document, and account holders will receive appropriate notification. By continuing to use our Services after changes take effect, you agree to the updated terms.
Account terms
- You maintain responsibility for account and password security, ensuring all users within your team do likewise. Grepture bears no liability for losses resulting from security failures on your end.
- Services may not be used for any unlawful purpose, to violate any regulations, or to transmit malicious content through the proxy.
- You are accountable for all content that passes through your Grepture proxy configuration and all activity on your account.
- Only human users may register accounts. “Bot”-registered or automated account creation is prohibited.
Payment, refunds, and plan changes
- The Free plan provides 1,000 requests per month and 25 AI detection requests per month at no cost, with no credit card required.
- Upgrades to a paid plan (Pro or Business) charge immediately. Subsequent upgrades or downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle.
- All fees exclude applicable taxes and duties. Where required by law, we collect taxes on behalf of the relevant authorities.
- Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact hello@grepture.com if you believe you are owed a refund.
Cancellation and termination
- You are solely responsible for proper cancellation through Settings → Billing in the dashboard. Email or phone requests do not constitute cancellation.
- Upon cancellation, your data is permanently deleted from active systems within 30 days and from backups within 60 days. Recovery is not possible afterward. Export your data before canceling.
- Canceling before the end of your billing period allows continued access through the remainder of that period without additional charges.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts and refuse service access for any reason at any time, including but not limited to violation of these terms.
- Verbal, physical, written, or other abuse directed at Grepture employees results in immediate account termination.
Modifications to services and prices
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue Services, temporarily or permanently, with or without notice. Pricing changes may occur with 30 days' notice via email or announcement on our website.
Uptime, security, and privacy
- Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” While we take uptime seriously, no service-level agreement is included unless explicitly agreed upon in a Custom plan.
- We employ multiple protective measures — backups, redundancies, and encryption — to secure your data. All data in transit and at rest is encrypted.
- Your data is processed according to our Privacy Policy. Third-party vendors and hosting partners that may process personal data are listed on our Subprocessors page.
- All infrastructure is hosted in the European Union.
Intellectual property
The Grepture proxy is open source under the AGPL-3.0 license. The Grepture dashboard, marketing site, and cloud infrastructure remain proprietary. Your data remains yours — we claim no ownership over content that passes through the proxy.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Grepture shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from (i) your use of or inability to use the Services; (ii) any unauthorized access to or alteration of your data; (iii) statements or conduct of any third party on the Services; or (iv) any other matter related to the Services.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Berlin, Germany.
